    Industrial Design refers to designing industrial product on the basis of engineering, aesthetics, economics and is related to psychology, sociology, aesthetics, ergonomics, mechanical construction, photography, color science. Industrial design brought about by industrial development and the division of labor is different from other arts, production activities, production processes. It is the product of a variety of cross-disciplinary, technical and aesthetic standards.  

Training Objectives:

This major aims to cultivate applied and compound talents who have all-round moral, intellectual, physical development, master the basic theory and knowledge of industrial design, possess an international vision, a sense of social responsibility, comprehensive and innovative thinking and teamwork spirits, have the ability of collaborative development of industrial products, can undertake the work of development, planning and management in the fields of industrial product innovative design, environmental and exhibition design.

Design graphics, modeling materials and technology, industrial design engineering foundation, the history of industrial design and introduction, design sketches, three structure (plane,color, three-dimensional), basic design, design performance techniques, ergonomics, model design and production, graphic design, product shape design, product system design, product interface design, environmental design, two-dimensional computer-aided design (ps/coreldraw/autocad), three-dimensional computer-aided design (3dmax/Rhino/proe) and so on.

Hitachi's data show that in each additional 100 billion yen in sales revenue, industrial design accounts for 51% share of the action, and the role of equipment transformation only 12%, it is obvious that the industrial design will become the key to the survival of a company.
