Major Profile:

    Material forming and control engineering is the study of thermal processing of changing the material microstructure, surface shape and affect the macroscopic properties during the relevant technological factors material to solve molding process development, theory and method forming equipment, process optimization. It researches on mold design theory and method to study the material in the mold manufacturing, heat treatment, processing methods and other issues. It is a pillar industry in the national economy.  

Training Objectives

Material forming and control engineering cultivates all-round development of compound talents, who master the basic principles and the basics of material forming and control engineering, basic training material processing, product performance testing and molding equipment design and other aspects, having a certain material forming areas engineering practice ability to automatically control the material forming process, forming process and equipment design and advanced materials engineering and other fields in the design and manufacturing, technology development, quality testing, production and operation management work.

Materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering and automation, descriptive geometry and mechanical drawing, mechanical engineering, materials science, mechanical properties of the metal, metal materials science, materials engineering base, material forming and control engineering experiments, the basic principles of welding, welding method and equipment, plastic forming principle, metal stamping process and die design.

Shortage of skilled personnel who have welding automation technology and some knowledge of international welding standards has become a bottleneck restricting the development of many enterprises. The professional nurtures talents of applied technology, who have a solid needle welding automation basic theoretical knowledge, strong practical skills and certain international welding standards knowledge. According to the social needs of high-level technical personnel welding, the profession takes excellent engineer training model and intakes the international welding production and inspection standards into teaching. Students must acquire before graduation senior welders, IWE, International Welding technician, NDT qualification certificate one ( grade) vocational qualification certificates.
